Nun sind es schon zwei Wochen seit ich in den USA angekommen bin, die Zeit vergeht wie im Flug. Die Erste Woche des Semesters liegt hinter mir. Meine finale Kurswahl steht jetzt auch fest: Mathe, Physik, Computer Science und das Writing Program. Ich habe wirklich ausnahmslos wirklich tolle Professoren und überwiegend sehr kleine Kurse. Die Hausaufgabenlast ist schon nicht unbeträchtlich, vor allem wenn man bedenkt, dass ich jeden Tag auch zwei Stunden Training habe. Bisher bin ich aber ganz gut durchgekommen. Es haben sich schon die ersten Arbeitsgruppen herauskristallisiert, wir werden wohl noch das ein oder andere mal zusammen über den Hausaufgaben brühten.

Mein erstes offizielles Hockey Spiel als Co-Trainer stand auch am vergangen Donnerstag an. Wir konnten uns nur relativ knapp gegen ein anderes College aus der Nähe, Cabrini, mit 3-2 durchsetzen. Einen Spielbericht gibt's hier. Heute steht das nächste Spiel gegen Messiah an, das wird eine ganz harte Nuss. Let's go Fords!!!

Now it's already two weeks since I got to the US, the time flies. The first week of the semester is over and I made my final class choices: Math, Physics, Computer Science and the Writing Program. Without any exceptions my professors are really exceptional and almost all my classes a taught in small groups. The amount of homework is already significant, especially if you consider that I have two hours of practice every day. However, so far everything went quite smoothly. We have already formed the first homework groups and we'll probably jointly rack our brain's from time to time throughout the semester.
My first official hockey game as assistant coach was up last Thursday. We beat another nearby college, Cabrini, in a close match with 3-2. A report on the match can be found here. Today we are facing Messiah, that's gonna be a though nut to crack. Let's go Fords!!!
